Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
When you request a septic quote on HireSeptic, we may share your contact details with matched local septic professionals so they can fulfill your request. Under some state privacy laws, that kind of sharing may be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information — even when it is done to connect you with service providers you asked to hear from.
How to opt out
To submit a Do Not Sell or Share request, email privacy@hireseptic.com with the subject line Do Not Sell. Please include:
- Your full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- ZIP code used on any quote request
We will process verified requests within 45 days (or as otherwise required by applicable law). We may need to confirm your identity before completing the request.
What this covers
An opt-out limits certain sharing of your personal information for purposes that may qualify as a sale or share under applicable law. It does not cancel a quote request you already submitted to professionals who already received it, and it does not affect disclosures we make when required by law or to service providers who help operate the site under appropriate agreements.
